As a SL Racing Ambassador, Emma works closely with us to support athlete development, promote innovation in the sport, and inspire the next generation of rowers.

“The boys only came together a couple of sessions before the race, mostly from sculling boats, but they immediately gelled. The stability the hull provided gave them real confidence, and that confidence allowed them to enjoy the race and ultimately come away with the win in the Club Junior category. The hull was very responsive and we saw immediate improvements in speed — the crew said it felt really snappy and they loved the acceleration they were getting out of it.”
Following their success at the British Rowing Club Championships, it was a pleasure to catch up with Mark Wilkinson at Windsor Boys’ School to finalise the details of their prize-winning SL Racing single scull. We were delighted to present the school with their new racing shell after their outstanding performance at the championships.
At Cymba Racing and SL Racing, we’re incredibly proud to support schools and clubs that work tirelessly to give young athletes the opportunity to compete. As a state comprehensive school, Windsor Boys’ School relies heavily on fundraising to provide boats and valuable time on the water for its rowers.
The commitment shown by Mark and the entire team is inspiring. Their dedication to creating opportunities for their athletes is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through passion, hard work and community support.
