You’ve trained hard all year. The last thing you need is to arrive at Lake Bled managing boat logistics,
adapting to unfamiliar equipment, or guessing whether your taper was right.
This camp takes all of that off your plate — so when race week begins, you’re calm, sharp, and ready.
Dates: Monday 31 August (8:00 AM) – Saturday 5 September (12:00 Noon), 2026
Venue: Lake Bled, Slovenia
Places: 12 only
Most masters athletes arrive at a major regatta carrying unnecessary fatigue — from
travel, from unfamiliar boats, from disrupted routine. This camp is designed to
eliminate every one of those variables.
In the six days before World Masters Regatta Bled 2026, you will train on race water,
in your race boat, coached by two specialists who understand exactly what a masters
athlete needs in the final week before competition. You will leave each session feeling
better than when you arrived.
This is not a fitness camp. Your fitness is already built. This is precision preparation.
Chantelle Hanley, M.Sc., ChPC, is the founder of Performance By Design, bringing 40+ years of international rowing coaching experience to Fredericton. She specializes in personal coaching for health and sport performance, with a deep focus on injury management and prevention. By partnering with Cymba Racing, Chantelle provides an integrated path for athletes to reach their racing goals in top tier racing shells. Look for her rowing on the water every day the sun is shining!
Rebecca is one of the most respected masters rowing coaches working today. Known for her attention to technical detail and her ability to explain the boat-body relationship in ways that actually make sense, she helps athletes find speed they didn’t know they had — without asking them to work harder. If you’ve ever felt like your technique has a ceiling, a session
with Rebecca tends to raise it.
Getting to a world championship is complicated enough.
We remove the parts that have nothing to do with rowing:
Just arrive, train, taper, and race.
There are few places in the world where you can wake up, look out at a mountain lake, and know you’re about to row one of the most beautiful courses in international competition. The water at Bled is calm and reliable in late summer, the course is fast, and the atmosphere in the days before a world championship is unlike anything in the sport.
Training here before racing here is an advantage. Use it.
Spaces are strictly limited to 12 athletes to ensure every rower receives individual
coaching attention.
Complete the form to register your interest — we will be in touch within 48 hours to
